If you’ve never heard of Linkedin in your entire life, you’re most likely living in a cave, but don’t worry, that’s what I’m here for! This is the latest cool and trendy professional social media star. Founded in December 2002 and launched in May 2003, Linkedin has grown slowly but surely to reach more than 225 million users today.

In 2011, Linkedin entered the stock market at $45 a share. The stock climbed 171% on the same day and closed at $94.25 a share. After impressive earnings, surpassing Twitter by millions of dollars, the stock is selling for $247.55 each! This is to say that Linkedin has strong backs! Fairly profitable as a business.

But why is it so profitable? Simply because Linkedin is Facebook in a full tie. If you are tired of seeing photos of 9gag, CononnerieQc, or Occupation Double on your news feed, Linkedin is the solution!

Why create a LinkedIn Company Page?

The primary purpose of a LinkedIn Company Page is to let LinkedIn members learn more about your company, brand, products, and services.‍

Although the company page on LinkedIn belongs to the communication tools, the purpose of its use remains commercial. In communication, the actions carried out are always for visibility, creation of traffic on the website, brand image, etc. But communicators often need to remember the commercial function of company pages when paid advertising is not practiced.‍

More than just a showcase page, you should see this page as a landing page whose call to action is to continue discovering your offer on your website. And to do that, you need to do more than post internal news here and there.‍

Because yes, it’s essential to share the state of mind of your teams to show that life is “good” in your company and the few projects in progress. But how do you intend to display your know-how in this way and close a sale? You must publish concrete, value-added content that will demonstrate your expertise.

Using LinkedIn for your sales is, above all, a good dose of reflection and inbound marketing. By sharing quality content by dealing with the issues that concern your targets, Internet users will naturally come to you. You can continue to feed them so they can go from visitors to prospects to customers.

This is the whole point of adopting a Social Selling and Inbound Marketing approach in your actions and using LinkedIn as a relay for this strategy.
